Originally from Cardiff, Kate trained in London in Jewellery and Silversmithing and set up Kate Dumbleton Jewellery 20+ years ago.
As well as making her own designs Kate has freelanced for leading companies such as Clogau and Swarovski, and taught adults and children the joys of jewellery making.
Since returning to Wales Kate has collaborated with National Museum Wales for the last decade or so, producing collections inspired by the art there and one of her design missions is to make Celtic jewellery fashionable, mixing ancient techniques and components with a contemporary style.
Old to new revamps are one of Kate's passions, turning unworn heirlooms into modern treasures. All the jewellery is made in recycled metals, with gemstones and beads sourced responsibly. Gift packaging is also from recycled materials. Men's, unisex and bridal pieces are available to order - something for everyone!
New collections online include 'Aqua', silver literally shaped by water with pearls, and 'Aurora', sparkly stones in a rainbow of colour.
